Interacting with Design Mockups
The design mockups section of Jumpchart makes it very easy for designers to show progress to clients, get feedback and eventually agree on an approved version which will be used for actual website production.
There are two different ways people can interact with design mockups:
- Comments: just like you can comment on content pages, you can also give your feedback on a design by using the “Add Comment” button found at the bottom of the mockup page. When sending a comment, everyone involved in the project will be able to see it — and they will also be notified according to our e-mail notification rules.
- Approval: if you’re the person responsible for giving the green light on a mockup, it’s up to you to hit the “Mark as approved” button. When you do, you’ll be presented with the option to notify your team members, and if so, which ones; it can be everyone or just the person who matters most (the designer who will implement the graphics, for example).
Please note: you’ll only be able to comment and set approval on the most recent version of the mockup. Also, View Only users can only comment on mockups and can’t mark anything as approved.
