Writing in Distraction-Free Mode
When you need to focus on content, you can zone in even more by eliminating the distractions on the screen. Use the distraction-free mode, as described below.
When you’re in content edit mode, you’ll see a window-expansion icon in the upper right corner.
Once you click it, your view of the screen will include a simplified version of the page, containing just you and your content. To switch from the default white background, click the night/day icon in the upper right corner.
Saving in Distraction-Free Mode
Your content will carry over as you switch from distraction-free mode to full-project view. You can also save directly from the distraction-free mode by hovering over the bottom of the screen.
Exiting Distraction-Free Mode
There are three ways to return to the full-project view.
- Simply click “Escape” on your keyboard.
- Click the window-expansion icon in the upper right corner.
- When you hover over the bottom of the distraction-free mode, click “close.”
